The United Independent School District is one of the fastest growing districts in Texas. By the school year 2011-2012, United ISD is projected to have over 44,819 students. Faced with the challenge of providing a quality education for increasing numbers of students, the Board of Trustees invited community members to explore options for dealing with this growth. A Blue Ribbon Committee, composed of parents, District patrons and community members, was appointed by the United I.S.D. Board of Trustees. The Blue Ribbon Committee visited our schools and other buildings to determine the needs of the District.
